About Hi-Mark-Dudenville The Dudenville location is where it all started, and it remains home to Hi-Mark. Though most operations are now conducted in Avilla (at Red Barn Family Farms), the main offices and Garden #1 remain at the Dudenville location. Dudenville is also the home of the rest of McNary Bros. Cos., and is where most of the equipment owned by McNary Bros is kept. The town of Dudenville is actually located two miles to the east, literally down the road and over the hill. An unincorporated village located at a crossroads on the Jasper-Dade County line, the town is located a mile from Missouri Route 37 and at the end of highway B. Settled before the Civil War, Dudenville was once an active community center with four stores, a movie theater, a farm implement dealer and two churches, though today the Methodist Church and the cemetery remain. The town is also the home of Mud Brother Pottery. © 2001-2003 McNary Bros. |
